A foul stench of rot and damp earth filled the air as a putrid hand clawed its way through the loosened soil, followed by a groaning form that hoisted herself
from the gaping maw of the grave..... Zombie Bride arose and infiltrated the Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk. That event was spawned by a young undead father who found himself recovering from hardship and wanting to give back. Sharing his concept of “Zombies feeding humans, NOT eating humans!”the Downtown Lansing Zombie Walk was created to benefit the Greater Lansing Food Bank. Having experienced food insecurity herself, the origin story ripped Zombie Bride’s flesh, burrowed into her heart, tore away complacency and replaced it with a burning ember of activism. Consumed with purpose and pustules, Zombie Bride took a vow to lead the Horde! She can be found splashing blood on the sidewalks to bring awareness to food insecurity and contaminating communities with an outbreak of good will. |
